Interesting Trivia
I have known Mr. McKenzie since the 6th grade We attended middle school at Parsons and went on to graduate from Enterprise High School in 1980. Yes, Mr. McKenzie is that old, but I'm not!
Family Life
I have been married for 27 years to my husband, Karl. Our son, Luke, is married to our new daughter, Amelia. Our daughter, Karlee (Amelia's best friend) is married to our son in-law,Curtis. We also have a spoiled beagle named Calamity Jane, "Janee", and a spoiled German wired haired pointer named Captain Augustus McCrae "Gus".
Teaching Philosophy
I believe every child possesses special gifts and talents that need to be nurtured and encouraged. I also believe that every child has the ability to learn and excel. It's my job to deliver instruction in a way that motivates and assists each child in being successful. It is so exciting to have the honor of introducing new concepts to a child. I love to witness the "ah ha" moments - when wonder and curiosity give way to questions and exploration. That's money in the bank for me!
