Hello,

            As the Music teacher of Bella Vista School it is my great privilege to inspire these students in Music. It is wonderful to watch young learners get the idea and accomplish the task in front of others and for themselves. Whether it be learning a band instrument or hearing and singing three part harmonies in choir to finally getting the fingers to go in the right place for guitar, the thrill is still the same.

On a personal note, I have enjoyed music most of my life. I too started on the last available instrument, the tenor saxophone, in sixth grade here at Bella Vista School. Our school was small in 1960, but had all the amenities of local people and small town friendliness.  At a crucial time I choose Music over sports as my direction and have never stopped nor regretted it. It is my desire to pass on that love for the field of music to all these open minds. I thank you for that opportunity.
